Jason Pickett

Chief Executive Officer 

Mr. Pickett joined Peak Utility Services Group as Chief Executive Officer in October 2018.  Prior to this appointment, Jason served as the President of SiteWise, a Peak USG operating company.  After joining the company in 2016, Jason held key operational leadership positions at SiteWise prior to becoming President.  Prior to joining SiteWise, Jason spent 15 years in operations management at SourceGas (formerly known as Kinder Morgan).  Jason brings over 17 years of executive leadership and utility construction experience to Peak.  He has a diverse background in utility and construction services, mergers & acquisitions, and in complex growth strategy design and execution in the utility and construction industries.  Jason received his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from Washburn University and is actively involved in multiple industry associations, including the American Gas Association and Distribution Contractors Association.

JEFF CAGLE

Chief Financial Officer

Jeff Cagle joined the Company in December 2018, following a diverse career in Finance and Operations spanning a broad range of industries that includes Business Process Outsourcing, environmental services, technology, construction and utility services.  Mr. Cagle brings over 30 years of financial leadership to PEAK Utility Services Group that includes executive financial and operational roles in both public and private companies.  Most recently, Mr. Cagle was Chief Financial Officer of USI, a $500M a privately held construction services company where he was instrumental in the successful sale of the company.  Previously, Mr. Cagle was Chief Financial Officer of AMG Group of Companies, a private equity owned energy conservation product sales and services company, serving large investor owned utilities.  Prior to this, he was Senior Vice President managing Used Oil Operations for Clean Harbors, a NYSE traded company with $3.5B in annual revenue.  He received his BSBA from Menlo College, his MBA from the University of Nebraska, and he also holds the CMA and CFM designations from the Institute of Management Accountants.

Matt Smith

Vice President Environmental Health, Safety & Training

Matt joined the Peak management team in February 2020.  Matt began his career with SiteWise as a Gas Meter Technician and worked as a Safety Coordinator and Training Manager before becoming the Manager of Safety, Quality, and Training. As the Training Manager he instituted multiple programs to provide more knowledgeable and capable Company employees. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering Technology, is a Certified Pipeline Welding Inspector, holds a Specialist certification in Safety and Health in Oil and Gas, serves as an administrator and evaluator for multiple operator qualification providers, and is an eight-year veteran of the US Army.

James Carithers

Chief Procurement & Fleet Officer

Mr. Carithers has served as Director of Fleet Operations at Peak since 2017 and with SiteWise as Director of Fleet since 2016. Previously he served as the Director of Fleet at Quanta Power and has served in various other fleet management roles within the industry.

Mr. Carithers graduated from San Juan Basin Vo-Tec with an Associate’s degree in Diesel Mechanics.

AMY REININGER

Chief Human Resources Officer

Ms. Reininger started as Chief Human Resources Officer of Peak in late 2018. She has over 20 years of Human Resources experience including mergers & acquisitions, organizational & leadership development, employer & labor relations, strategic workforce planning, and continuous improvement spanning multiple industries. 

Ms. Reininger earned a Masters degree in Labor & Industrial Relations from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, a Bachelors degree in Psychology from Iowa State University, and a Collective Bargaining Certification from Cornell University.

Kristine D. Arps

Corporate Controller

Ms. Arps started as Corporate Controller of Peak in early 2018.  She has previous experience as Controller, Financial Reporting Manager, and External Auditor in a wide array of industries.

Ms. Arps graduated from University of Wisconsin - Madison with a B.S. degree in Accounting and Risk Management Insurance.

Ryan Polk

General Counsel

Mr. Polk joined peak in July of 2020, and brings with him over seventeen years of experience in the construction industry, both before and after going to law school. Mr. Polk began his career in construction with a major national homebuilder. After law school, Mr. Polk was a litigator and trial lawyer, who specialized in a broad range of commercial and construction disputes, and transactions. Most recently, he spent the last almost seven years as the General Counsel for a large specialty trade contractor, with operations around the Intermountain West. 

Mr. Polk received his undergraduate degrees from the University of Colorado, where he was a member of the President’s Leadership Class, and his law degree from the University of Wyoming College of Law. He is licensed to practice before all courts in Colorado and Wyoming.
